Mint-State 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar

Silver was one of the fist metals to be used as currency and bullion. And in my mind, way better than the copper-nickel clad we have today.

==Silver Half Dimes == First coined in 1794, these were among the smallest silver denomination along with the silver three-cent (or trimes). because they could get lost easily and weren't needed, the U.S. got rid of them in 1873.

Silver Dimes

First coined in 1796, these are the basic and most common of U.S. silver coin denominations. There are six different types of dimes. Draped Bust, Capped Bust, Seated Liberty, Barber or Liberty Head, Mercury or Winged Head Liberty, and Rosevelt Dimes.

Silver Quarter Dollars

Authorized in 1792, this denomination wasn't issued until 1796. The types consist of Draped Bust, Capped Bust, Liberty Seated, Barber or Liberty Head, Standing Liberty, and Washington Quarter Dollars.

Silver Half Dollars

Minting of this type started in 1794. The different types of half dollars ar Flowing Hair, Draped Bust, Capped Bust, Seated Liberty, Barber or Liberty Head, Liberty Walking, Franklin, and Kennedy Half Dollars.

Silver Dollars

Minting for this type started in 1794. The types of silver dollars are Flowing Hair, Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle, Gobrech, Liberty Seated, Trade, Morgan, Peace, and Isenhower Silver Dollars
